ASU Libraries

Students who learn online have access to all of ASU Libraries' resources through the Libraries' website. This includes research databases, electronic journals, e-books, and other research material. Library One Search allows you to search for books, journal articles and other materials through one easy-to-use search box.

Library Guides— research guides created by ASU librarians—provide quick access to the best resources in many subject areas. Resources for Online Students helps you navigate ASU Libraries to find books, articles, media, and more.

Career services

Career services

Career and Professional Development Service offers support year-round for online students, designed to strengthen your job search skills, build your résumé, enhance your interview skills, and more. Virtual career advising appointments are available for all online students. Appointments can be made up logging in to Handshake. We also encourage students and alumni to take advantage of the multitude of other virtual services including: virtual career fairs and workshops, resume Drop Box for online resume reviews, InterviewStream for virtual practice interviews, online chat with a career professional, access downloadable handouts and resume examples and more!

Online tutoring

Need help with writing, math, biology, Spanish or another subject? ASU provides a number of tutoring resources online. Online tutoring is live, free, and available to all ASU students, including online degree students.

Subject area tutoring is available on a small group, drop-in basis. Schedule writing appointments using TutorTrac. Learn more about them here.

Pitch app

This messaging app allows ASU Online students to chat with coaches, access their classes, advisors, or instructors from anywhere. Collaborate with your coach on technology questions, study tips and course registration planning.

The Sun Card is the official photo ID of all Arizona State University students, faculty and staff. Retailers in and around ASU campuses often offer discounts to Sun Card holders.

To obtain your ID Submit your ID photo and identification verification online, once you receive a photo approval email, you must complete the Sun Card Request form.
